- Story: Wrestled on the Varsity team while in the ninth grade. 119, 126 & 123 weights. Trained in Kenpo Karate, Shorinji Kempo from 12 on and off until 26. Played linebacker and Cornerback in high school. Moved after ninth grade, no more wrestling because I moved to a school that did not have a wrestling program. Ran track and swam like a fish. An injury at 26 stopped my MA career. Now that I am in my fifties, I think I am a little too old to try to compete with GSP or any of these gifted fighters. I am too old to be getting my rear kicked. MMA did not exist when I was younger, so I missed that boat. Now, all I can do is support these fighters and write about them. Hey, if ya can't be an athlete, be an athletic supporter, right?
